During that time, I relieved my anxiety through reading, watching movies, and handmade DIY. I immersed myself in the romantic and beautiful world of vintage fashion and admired those classic and timeless designs. There is a famous saying in the fashion industry that fashion is a reincarnation. Those romantic and exquisite classic designs can still be found in modern fashion. When I looked at the clothes in my closet, I fell silent because many of them were only worn once. I started buying fabrics and making my ideal romantic, timeless and elegant clothes. As my collection grew, I decided to turn my anxiety-relieving passion project into a full-time dream job. My decision was affirmed and strongly supported by my husband.

So in 2021, we embarked on a new adventure and began selling romantic vintage clothing on our website www.vintagemist.com.

VintageMist aims to carefully select romantic and feminine vintage clothing for modern women, bringing timeless elegance and romance into everyday life. Literature, art, history, film and television, beautiful countryside, vast fields, blooming flowers, etc. are all our sources of inspiration. How do we operate as a small business? Almost all the work is done by me and my husband. My husband is responsible for marketing, website design, customer communication, photography, quality control, packaging and shipping. I focus on brand design, product design and production, including fabric sourcing, cutting, sewing and production, size control, quality control, styling, photography and quality control. Our two little kids are adorable and inspire us every day. My parents occasionally help us with some packaging work. Most of our products are custom made and are made by me personally. We never order too much fabric, which reduces excessive working time and fabric usage. If a product is very popular, we will cooperate with high-quality small studios to produce the right amount of products, of course, we will strictly control the quality. We share some videos of the production process on social media so that you can see the beauty of our clothes with your own eyes. We don't create a lot of waste in pursuit of environmental protection.
